Miles Davis was born and raised in Philadelphia and resides in the city he now serves. After serving in the military, Miles pursued advanced graduate studies in Organization and Management Sciences, complemented by supporting studies in Chaos Theory. He then applied this unique blend of leadership experience and academic preparation to work with civic and community-based organizations focused on neighborhood revitalization, organizational effectiveness, and local economic development.
